The Highland Group’s analytical professionals conducted a Discovery and Design process that identified and detailed the key issues, the specific approach required to achieve the desired results and the projected benefits.
- Introduced the visual mapping technique and documented the current service delivery lifecycle and used the process to identify project bottlenecks.
- Assessed current project management processes and tools and developed a high-level design of and implementation roadmap for a weekly and ongoing System For Managing to track and manage project activities. Also defined the processes, methods, metrics, and governance structures that would enhance management capabilities. (System was implemented in a subsequent phase of work.)
